CITRUS ANDRONICUS

directed by Charlotte Northeast
devised/written by Eli Lynn

Honorary Producers: Laura Birchler & Paige Willan
Picture

Dr. Madeline could not be more excited to be making her speaking debut at the Biennial Conference of the Northeastern Renaissance Society! Unfortunately, her brilliantly insightful lecture on Shakespeare's early revenge tragedy has been relocated from Ballroom D to a loading dock next to the kitchens, where two enthusiastic clowns are busy loading in crates of fresh fruit. Will she be able to squeeze a win out of this jam? Or will the unruly pear of clowns steal the limelight? This fast-paced, off-the-wall, absolutely bananas exploration of the Bard's brutally violent work is like nothing you've ever seen before - we promise.

Bring your curiosity. And maybe a poncho. It's Shakespeare, freshly squeezed.

Peter Nicholls (Ete / Co-Deviser)

This is Peter’s premier show with PAC and he is super pumped for pie!  He is a frequent collaborator with Tribe of Fools, seen most recently in his solo show “You Shouldn’t be doing what you’re doing on that Ladder”.  Other Tribe credits include directing “Fishtown: a Hipster Noir” and “Zombies…with Guns” and performing the title character in “Antihero”.  When not on stage, Pete’s a jack of all trades from building Philly’s theatrical scenery with Flannel and Hammer to teaching circus acrobatics and Cyr Wheel at the totally rad Secret Circus!  Pete’s so thankful for his family, friends and Niff for putting up with this crazy clown.  Secretcirc.us
