Jane Eyre
by Charlotte Brontë Directed by Kathryn McMillan Monday, April 26th at 7pm EST JANE EYRE is a novel that has been loved and scrutinized since its publication. The Creative Team, in this new adaptation, seeks to tell Jane's story from a uniquely feminist angle. This fresh, inventive adaptation brings new life to the beloved classic novel. After a childhood of hardship, Jane Eyre becomes governess of the gloomy Thornfield Hall where she encounters peculiar servants and unsettling secrets. Introverted but fiercely brave, Jane defies expectations of class and position by falling in love with the enigmatic master of the house, Mr. Rochester. But the painful mysteries of Thornfield may make her happiness there impossible. Jane Eyre is a sweeping story of romance, independence, and the conquering spirit of a brave young woman.
