Meet Christina Anthony!
Portraying the loving & ascetic sage “Kanva”, Shakuntala’s foster father plus other noble characters in PAC’s virtual reading series, in collaboration with PAPA, THE RECOGNITION OF SHAKUNTALA by Kālidāsa, directed by Pratima Agrawal. “Christina V. Anthony is a Los Angeles-based writer, comedian, and actor. Her writing is published in the Broad Street Review, including think pieces exploring her Indian-American identity as well as reviews covering theatre, art, and pop culture. She taught and directed improv at the Philly Improv Theater where she also performed weekly with Saturday Night House Team Overlook, Harold Team Fan Club, and all-POC comedy troupe NYTEShift from 2017-2020. She has performed at festivals nationwide including: Del Close Marathon (New York City),Philadelphia Fringe Festival (Philadelphia), and North Carolina Comedy Festival (Greensboro, NC).
