THE BASSET TABLE, BY SUSANNA CENTLIVRE
Directed by Krista Apple-Hodge
Poker, pirates, and the possibility of love. Anything is possible at Lady Reveller's gaming table.
Maybe the feisty Lady Reveller's heart will be won by Lord Worthy's hand; maybe her cousin Valeria will stop dissecting insects and start falling in love. Maybe the surly Sea Captain will save the day. Then again ... maybe not. This hilarious Restoration comedy is a game of love and chance, where the women at the table must keep their wits about them to play the winning hand. October 2013

special event: an enemy of the people
Following the success of last year's partnership with the Chemical Heritage Foundation, the PAC has been asked to revisit a reading of Henrik Ibsen's An Enemy of the People that premiered in conjunction with Drexel University in 2010. Our readings at the CHF combine the PAC's signature approach to breathing new life into classical material with the amazing scholarship on display within the museum.
We suggest you arrive early and participate in browsing the exhibit before attending the reading! Directed by Damon Bonetti and featuring a lineup of PAC favorites including Greg Wood, Chris Coucill, Dan Hodge, and Charlotte Northeast.
Tickets can be purchased through the Chemical Heritage Foundation website.
